Marysia (They/Them)

Marysia Kochac’s circus career began with a chance encounter with a set of juggling balls at age eight, and they’ve been making objects (and themself) airborne ever since. A graduate of the New England Center for Circus Arts (Spring 2020), Marysia majored in what they affectionately call “upside down and artistic falling.” Since then, they’ve toured with theatrical companies, performed on the streets of New Orleans, and created a solo show that travels the Renaissance faire circuit.

With over a decade of coaching experience, Marysia delights in introducing students to their first acrobatic moments and thrives on working with movers of all ages and skill levels. Their teaching blends technical knowledge, creative exploration, and an enthusiastic curiosity about each student’s process, creating a supportive environment where learning feels both empowering and fun.

Iyo (he/him) & Amalia (she/her) - Duo DaDiva

Duo Dádiva is the acrobatic partnership of Iyolexan (Iyo) Torres Alvarez and Amalia Cruz Duquen, both graduates of the National Circus School of Cuba. Their work is rooted in classical circus training and emphasizes precision, balance, and trust through hand-to-hand acrobatics, Rola Bola, unicycle, pole, and aerial straps.

Iyo graduated with duo acts in Rola Bola and unicycle and went on to teach for four years at the National Circus School of Cuba, specializing in act creation, hand balancing, and physical training. During this time, he also performed professionally at Cabaret Tropicana and toured internationally, later developing a solo aerial straps act presented at the International Circus Festival in Cuba and other major events.

Amalia graduated with acts in pole and hand balancing. The two met as Amalia completed her studies, and Duo Dádiva was formed while working together on a cruise ship, where they developed their signature hand-to-hand Rola Bola act. Together, they have performed internationally at festivals including the International Circus Festival of Girona (Elefante de Oro) and festivals in Massy, Bayeux, and Mureaux, France, and have appeared on Spain’s Got Talent, France’s Got Talent, and America’s Got Talent.

Since relocating to the United States, Duo Dádiva has continued performing with a range of circuses, presenting both their hand-to-hand Rola Bola work and their aerial straps duo act. As teachers, they bring a deep respect for circus lineage, technical rigor, and collaborative process, supporting students in building strength, coordination, and mutual awareness through disciplined, intentional training.
